It’s time to start following your dreams, I know it’s hard but you got to start somewhere, and this is where

Do you why God shows you a dream that never matches your budget? God is testing your faith, not your wallet. It’s time to start being the person you were always meant to be. Here’s how you’re going to start….

Have you ever had a dream of what your future could be like, but you tell someone and it starts to become unrealistic? The problem isn’t that can’t be you, the problem is that you didn’t believe that would be you. “You want to kill your dream, tell it to a small-minded person” -Steve Harvey. “Do you why God shows you a dream that never matches your budget? God is testing your faith, not your wallet” when shows YOU what he has for you, whether it's in a dream or a thought, that’s the lifestyle God has for YOU. Stop telling people your dreams, keep them to yourself, and make them a reality. It’s your life you need to live, not those who influence it. Have faith and keep moving forward. What really helps is when you write down your goal and step by step how to get to that goal. Start from having the goal to where you are now. This is called planning and manifesting, in other words, it’s a “Vision Board”. Do you have a vision board? If not, now’s the time to start drawing one up. Here’s how:

Creating a vision board is a creative and motivational process that involves visually representing your goals, aspirations, and desires. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to make a vision board and what it can do for you:

What a Vision Board Does: A vision board serves several purposes:

  1. Clarifies Goals: It helps you clarify your goals and objectives by visualizing them. When you see your goals in images and words, they become more tangible and easier to understand.

  2. Motivates and Inspires: A vision board serves as a constant source of motivation and inspiration. It reminds you of what you're working towards and why it's important to you.

  3. Fosters Positive Thinking: By surrounding yourself with positive images and affirmations, a vision board can help cultivate a positive mindset. It reinforces your belief in your ability to achieve your goals.

  4. Visualization: Vision boards encourage the practice of visualization, which is a powerful technique for achieving your goals. Regularly visualizing your goals can help you manifest them in reality.

  5. Organizes Goals: It helps you organize your goals and prioritize them. You can see the bigger picture and break down your goals into smaller, actionable steps.

How to Make a Vision Board:

  1. Set Your Intentions: Before you start, think about your goals and what you want to achieve. What areas of your life do you want to focus on (e.g., career, relationships, health, personal growth)? Be specific about your intentions.

  2. Gather Materials:

    • A poster board or canvas.

    • Magazines, newspapers, or printed images.

    • Scissors.

    • Glue or double-sided tape.

    • Markers, colored pencils, or pens.

    • Optional: inspirational quotes, personal photos, or other decorative materials.

  3. Collect Images and Words: Flip through magazines, newspapers, or print images from the internet that represent your goals and aspirations. These can include pictures of your dream home, travel destinations, career achievements, healthy lifestyles, and more. Also, find words or phrases that resonate with you.

  4. Create a Layout: Arrange your images and words on the poster board or canvas. Experiment with different layouts until you're satisfied with how it looks. You can organize them by category or theme.

  5. Glue or Tape: Once you're happy with the layout, glue or tape the images and words onto the board. Make sure everything is securely attached.

  6. Personalize: Add your personal touch by including any additional materials like inspirational quotes, your own photos, or drawings.

  7. Reflect and Visualize: Place your vision board in a location where you'll see it daily. Take a moment each day to reflect on your goals and visualize yourself achieving them. Feel the emotions associated with your success.

  8. Regularly Update: Your goals may evolve over time. It's a good idea to update your vision board periodically to reflect your changing aspirations.

  9. Take Action: A vision board is a tool to inspire action. Use it as a reminder to take steps toward your goals. Break your goals into actionable tasks and work on them consistently.

Or

——all you really need is paper/poster, pencil/pen/marker, discipline, and inspirational quotes——

This way is less creative but still effective

If you’re using paper, write down your goals and deadlines. Now from your goals write step by step what you will be doing to get from where you are now example - 1. In December I have a Tesla 2. I will get car insurance that fits my budget 3. I will get pre-approved for a car loan 4. I will check my credit-to-debt ratio to determine my finances 5. I will put aside x amount of money every paycheck to be able to afford the down payment etc 6. I will make a pros and cons list of getting a new car 7. I will do research on the year, make, & model of the car I want 8. I will make a vision board including my plan for a new car. Deadlines may vary, set realistic expectations, and don’t be discouraged when you don’t meet that deadline, because you aren’t far from it. Once you start, you have already made more progress than you had, and that’s all it takes, To start. Don’t forget to add quotes to keep you motivated and never forget to stay disciplined to the plan.

If you're using a poster board, it’s going to be the same thing, but bigger. You can add pictures and cutouts as well. The important thing is to stay consistent and have discipline, and of course, thank God for giving you this experience and knowledge for you couldn’t have made it that far without him.

Remember that a vision board is most effective when you combine it with deliberate action. It's a powerful tool to keep you motivated and focused on your path to achieving your dreams.

Why a vision board?

Here are five pros to having a vision board:

  1. Clarity and Focus: Vision boards help you clarify your goals and desires by visualizing them. When you have a clear visual representation of what you want to achieve, it becomes easier to stay focused on your objectives. It serves as a daily reminder of your aspirations, keeping them top of mind.

  2. Motivation and Inspiration: Vision boards can serve as a constant source of motivation and inspiration. When you see images and words that represent your goals, it can boost your enthusiasm and drive to work towards them. It can be particularly helpful during moments of doubt or when faced with challenges.

  3. Positive Mindset: Creating and looking at your vision board can foster a positive mindset. By surrounding yourself with images and affirmations that reflect your aspirations, you reinforce your belief in your ability to achieve those goals. This positivity can have a profound impact on your confidence and overall outlook on life.

  4. Goal Visualization: Vision boards encourage you to visualize your goals, which is a powerful technique for achieving them. When you consistently imagine yourself reaching your objectives, it can influence your subconscious mind, making you more inclined to take actions that align with your goals.

  5. Organized Planning: In the process of creating a vision board, you often need to think through and plan the steps required to achieve your goals. This can lead to more organized and concrete goal-setting, making it easier to track your progress and make necessary adjustments along the way.

Remember that while vision boards can be a valuable tool, they work best when combined with proactive efforts and actions toward your goals. They serve as a visual representation of your aspirations and can keep you motivated and focused on your journey to success.

If anything, God is in your corner. Always. If you have a dream, chase it. Don’t let anyone steer you away from that. People unintentionally/intentionally kill your dream by telling you, you can’t do it, because someone told them they could do it, or because they actually couldn’t do it. Never give up on yourself. Follow YOUR dream, not theirs.
